Nikon 1

It's been quite some time since I carry a camera around and shoot - whether it is for documenting my life or in an attempt to be artistic. A pink camera caught my attention through the shop window and I got instantly attracted to it. Yes, pink. Not the usual colour that I would go for especially if it is baby pink. Here's a picture I found online:

It is the closest photo I can find that represents what I saw on Saturday afternoon. Pink camera body with interchangeable lens in the same colour. Not just one type of lens. And this included the lens hood and and lens cover. How cute is that! This is the Nikon 1 series: J1. Beside the pink J1 there was a white V1. The camera body is similar in size; also with interchangeable lens. I have yet to find out the specifications and their differences. As much as white appeals to me, I'd say this kit is the deal-breaker. Well done for marketing. I'm totally falling for it. The J1 also comes in other colours including my favourite, red and the V1 model only comes in black and white. I am already feeling too spoilt for choice. Normally red looks too harsh, metallic and cold on gadgets and white is getting more and more common these days plus it gets dirty more easily (I mean more visable, you get it.). This tiny pink camera would definitely stand out in the crowd.
